I am writing to you from the confines of a hospital ward (well cafe) since the 3rd of May i have been stuck here with a 12" wound on my side with 30 staples in it, yes i said staples. I first thought they were the paper kind and went all the way through and curled up like the paper ones do, but these are medial staples and just are straight and go into the skin. Was told they work better than stiches, but i had them out yesterday and they HURT LIKE HECK if the skin has begun to grow over.
I find myself stuck without the use of a computer other than this internet system the hospital has, so i am forced to go back to basics... Pencil and paper :/ i know scary huh?
My gall bladder was apparently infected so had to be forcibly removed with a spoon! (ok with a surgical team, but spoon sounds scarier) For the past 12 days i have been dragging around a bottle connected to my side, all i want now is my camera so i can take some reference shots of the healing process
I have one more procedure left to be performed on monday so fingies crossed i will be out of here by tuesday, if not i think i will have to bribe someone to bring me my camera!!
So far i have managed to do a couple of sketches, nothing special i would think but i can see my technique is improving or i am going blind
any way time for my sore pain killer swallowing ass to go back to bed.
Bye Diary
Lina
(Minus one gall bladder)

Thanks for the watch, though! Consider the favour returned.
Lab Monkey the best job? it's nothing like CSI ...hehehe. Ok so it is a great job
Lab Monkey sounds awesome, though. Even better with blackouts. "Whose hand is that?"
